Banana Sauce

1 and 1/2 cups sugar

3 one-inch pieces stick cinnamon
2 and 1/2 cups boiling water
1 and 1/2 lemons (rind)

3 and 1/2 tablespoons gelatine
8 cloves

1/2 cup cold water       2/3 cup lemon juice

Boil water, sugar, lemon rind and spices for five minutes. Add gelatine softened in cold water and when dissolved add the lemon juice. Strain into mold and chill. Glace fruits may be added if desired. Serve with banana sauce
