ORNAMENTAL FROSTING


3 egg whites 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar


Confectioner's sugar, sifted

RECIPE


Put egg whites in large bowl with one-half cup of sugar (which has been sifted) and beat vigorously ten minutes; then add another half-cup of sugar and beat. Add cream of tartar and continue adding sugar and beating until mixture will hold its shape when forced through a bag and tube.
